The American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies. In addition to basic life support, this course covers the recognition of and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Participants apply their knowledge of electrocardiograms (EKGs) and emergency pharmacology to simulate a variety of emergency responses. This course reflects the evidence-based research from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest, respiratory arrest, and cardiovascular emergencies.

This will help you earn the required 84% or higher on the Written Assessment and the needed concepts for the Megacodes to pass the AHA ACLS Course.

Students will practice and complete a skills test with an AHA Instructor to ensure competency. The skills session focus on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, and skills testing. This is only available to participants who have completed the AHA Online ACLS Part 1 (a separate charge) and possess an AHA ACLS Online Part 1 Certificate of Completion.
