American Heart AssociationBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers/CPR
The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR) course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, deliver high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and properly use an AED. This course reflects the evidence-based research from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-medical facility, prehospital, and home care settings.

Initial/Renewal Certification

Ideal for students who prefer hands-on instruction, and the recommended option for all BLS students. This course is taught by knowledgeable pre-hospital care providers who can share their real-world experience. AHA e-card and certification issued immediately upon successful completion of the course.
Skills Check Only
$40.00
For students who have already taken the online "BLS for Healthcare Providers" or "HeartCode BLS" through the American Heart Association website, and need to schedule a skills check. Skills checks are typically scheduled on an as-needed basis. Please be sure you have received your certificate of completion for the online portion of the course before purchasing.
